| NOTABLE : This year, the PKRA will return to Pointe Magnin, New Caledonia, for the fourth consecutive year. Standing out as the dream freestyle location, the Reef Kitesurf Pro will surely be an incredible close to the 2012 season, which will culminate in the crowning of the 2012 men’s and women’s Freestyle World Champions.
Amazingly, the fight for the World Title has never been closer going into the final year’s event, and while the China PKRA tour stop will provide an advantage for the winner going into the New Caledonia Event, the final champion will be decided with much anticipation in the southwestern Pacific seas.
Currently, Youri Zoon (NED) and Alex Pastor (ESP) remain as the top competitors, one of whom will likely claim the World Title. Bruna Kajiya (BRA) and Gisela Pulido (ESP) will also take part in this battle until the end, as they’ve been trading top positioning all year long.
With these close competitions at hand, the Reef Kitesurf Pro will prove to be the ultimate freestyle test, as they’ll get to ride with pristine flat water and steady winds, allowing for an amazing show and possibly the best riding of the year. |
